Take this Mini-quiz to check your understanding of the lesson material.

1. Why can't you have the fraction 7/0?

Since you are dividing by 0, the result is 0

7/0 = 7, which is a whole number

Dividing by 0 is not allowed

2. If you add 2/3 to 7, what do you get?

The mixed number 7 2/3

The improper fraction 9/3

You cannot add those numbers

3. What mixed number does 27/13 reduce to?

27 1/13

2 1/13

2
