Mini-Quiz: Extremes in Good Character

by Ron Kurtus (revised 24 March 2009)

Take this Mini-Quiz to check your understanding of the lesson material.

1. Would a "workaholic" achieve more than an average hard-worker?

Yes, because the person works almost all the time

Provided the person only slept four hours a night

No, because the person may become saturated and actually inefficient

2. What might happen if you were overly fair in competition with a friend?

He would appreciate the fact that you allowed him to win the game

He might resent the fact that you give him points he does not deserve

It would point out that fact that he often cheats

3. What would you think of a neighbor that checked to make sure everyone followed the laws of the community?

An outstanding citizen of good character

Suspicion that he might be responsible for vandalism in the neighborhood

Someone who should mind his own business

If you got all three correct, you are on your way to becoming a Champion in Understanding Character. If you had problems, you had better look over the material again.

Be good, but also use common sense
