Mini-Quiz: Basics of Gambling as a Competition

by Ron Kurtus (13 January 2006)

Take this Mini-Quiz to check your understanding of the lesson material.

1. What does betting that you will win do for you?

It is an easy way to get rich

It can add more incentive to try to win

It proves that you aren't a loser like everyone says

2. What is required in betting on the outcome of a sporting event?

You need to be able to fix the game

You need at least $100 to place your bets

You need knowledge about both teams to determine the favorite

3. How do people know when they will be lucky?

They often have visions with glowing lights of the way to bet

They go into a zombie state, walking around slowly and placing bets

They just have that feeling they will win

If you got all three correct, you are on your way to becoming a Champion in Winning Competitions. If you had problems, you had better look over the material again.
