Wants to start a project

Question

March 30, 2005

Hi !
My name is HUNG, I'm from Vietnam and I have some question for you.
My group is going to develop a project about Networking-Elearning.
But because this is the first time we do sth like this so that we don't know where to start !
I know that it's hard to instruct us if I don't show you some particular problems but we are very confused.
Could you give us some advices?
I'm looking forward to hearing from you .

Answer

First of all, start off small. Do things in modules, so that the project is not overwhelming.

The best thing to do is to start out by writing up your training material. It is best to do this as an outline.

Some people draw things out as a storyboard, but I prefer to put the e-learning in a slide format, like with PowerPoint. This lays out the material and forces you to limit how much information is on each slide.

You can use that PowerPoint presentation as a form of training, since you can put it online. Or you can start with some other e-learning software.

I hope this gives you ideas on how to start your project.
