Mini-Quiz: Saving Your Money

by Ron Kurtus (revised 26 November 2011)

Take this Mini-Quiz to check your understanding of the lesson material.

1. Where would you get money for savings?

Designate a certain amount for savings right after you get paid

Borrow money from a loan office to put in your savings account

See if you have any money left over at the end of the week

2. Why do so many people buy on credit instead of saving?

Few people actually buy on credit, so it does not apply

Credit cards allow you to save money when you use them

Instant gratification is more fun than having to wait to buy something

3. What happens to your money if a bank is robbed?

You are just out of luck

Your money in the bank is insured

It depends whether the robber re-deposits the money in this bank or another

If you got all three correct, you are on your way to becoming a Champion in Personal Finances. If you had problems, you had better look over the material again.
