Mini-Quiz: Defining a Page Layout in FrameMaker

by Ron Kurtus (18 November 2006)

Take this Mini-Quiz to check your understanding of the lesson material.

1. What if your document has two equally sized columns and one larger one?

You define the layout as 2 columns and add the third in your Master Pages

You set columns at 3 and then adjust your margins

You can only have equal columns

2. Can envelopes be made in FrameMaker?

No, the program is only for long documents

There are varying opinions on this matter

You can define your page size as an envelope

3. When would you want to delete empty pages?

When the flow does not require starting a section on an odd page

When you have not started to enter text

You never delete empty pages in case you want to use them later

If you got all three correct, you are on your way to becoming a Champion in using FrameMaker. If you had problems, you had better look over the material again.

Always do your best
