1. What is the main reason for getting homework after the teacher explained the material?

To punish the students for not listening in class

To make things easy for the teacher

It helps you remember and understand the material

2. Why is reading homework often given?

To learn material beyond what was taught in class

To prove that you can read fast

To encourage students to use the public library

3. What should you do about mindless or busy-work homework?

Refuse to do it in protest to the teacher's incompetence

Hire someone to do it for you

Realize you need to do it in order to get a good grade in that class
