Mini-Quiz: Characteristics of Force

by Ron Kurtus (revised 30 September 2015)

Take this Mini-Quiz to check your understanding of the lesson material.

1. What is an impulse?

A force applied for a very short time

When a person is impulsive

The same as an impact

2. Why is friction considered passive?

Because it is the same as an active force

It only responds to the motion of the other object

Because it really does not exist

3. What do you feel when you push on an object?

An equal inertial force pushing back

Nothing, because it moves away from you

It depends on how hard you push

If you got all three correct, you are on your way to becoming a Champion in Physics. If you had problems, you had better look over the material again.

Be a force in society
