Increasing the Content
(June 2000)
At the present time, I have been providing all the content for the School for Champions. We need to have other subject matter experts to contribute to the curriculum, as well as to get a board of advisors.
Adding to curriculum
The plan to add to the courses and lessons offered is to get experts in various subjects to contribute material.
Motivating contributors
There has to be some sort of motivation for experts to contribute to this school. Depending on the situation, the following incentives can be made:
- If the person believes in the dream and mission, perhaps he or she will be glad to help out.
- If the person has a business, a link to that business can be made, as well as a recommendation.
- If the person has written a book, a link for buying the book can be made.
- If the school becomes profitable, some sort of sharing plan can be arranged.
Getting contributors
By asking various subject matter experts to contribute, we may be able to add to the courses offered.
One good strategy is to ask experts that I know if they would like to be on my advisory board. Then also ask if they would care to contribute some content or could recommend someone.
For academic people, this would also be a way to align myself with various schools.
In conclusion
The School for Champions has been organized and is operating as a viable online school, but it needs ways to add course material, increase enrollment and increase revenue. Flexible plans for the growth of the school are in place.
Plan to grow. Then shoot for the stars.
Where can you go from here?
