Answer

You must be well-prepared before you speak before a group. You must rehearse your speech many times--preferably in front of people, such as friends. The more you practice, the more confidence you have in speaking the material.

Answer

It is good to have speaking skills and the love of making presentations. But be aware that the top speakers are communicators and not just performers. The start to get paid speaking, you need to write up one or two 15-minute speeches on a specific topic that people would like to hear about. Then seek out local organizations that would be interested in the subject. Most of them do not pay, but the experience and exposure is the beginning. Soon you will referrals to paying speaking engagements.

Check out the National Speakers Association chapter in your area. See: http://www.nsaspeaker.org/. They have a great program that will guide you to become a professional speaker.

Answer

There are lists of famous speeches in the site that you can use as good examples. You must have a specific topic you want to talk about. There isn't such a thing as a "best speech" to use. It depends on the topic and delivery.
