by Ron Kurtus (updated 19 January 2022)

Take this Mini-Quiz to check your understanding of the lesson material.

1. Can a squirrel really tease the cat?

No, that is giving it human behavioral traits

Actually, the cat was teasing the squirrel

It appears so, from my observations

2. Why do squirrels groom each other?

It forms a social bond when they reciprocate

They are looking for fleas to eat

It is their way of fighting

3. Why weren't the city squirrels afraid of us?

They saw we didn't have a gun, so they felt safe

They were used to humans and had no real fear

They knew our dog would protect them

If you got all three correct, you are on your way to becoming a Champion in Understanding Behavior. If you had problems, you had better look over the material again.
