Commissions through Google AdSense

A popular method to gain online revenue is to sell advertising space on your website through the Google AdSense program. This program places relevant ads on your web pages, according to key words in your content. When users of your site click on an ad, you get a commission.

If your website has a Google search feature, AdSense also places ads along with the search results.

In order to participate in the Google AdSense program, you must enroll or sign-up and be accepted. Then you can obtain code that can be placed in appropriate locations on your web pages. Each month you receive commission payments. You can also monitor your progress throughout the month.

Sign-up in AdSense program

When you enroll in the Google AdSense program, you agree to post ads through AdSense on your web pages. In return, Google agrees to pay a certain amount for every person accessing the page and clicking on one of the ads place on the page. Users then click-through to the company paying Google for the ad.

The type of ads displayed are usually relevant to the material on your web page and the type of people who might view the page.

To optimize the results, you are limited to a certain number of ads per page. Of course, you are encouraged to place ads in as many pages in your site as you want.

Getting paid

Google keeps track of the number of page views and clicks. At the end of each month, they deposits a commission amount in your bank account. See:
