1. Why do you need a specific goal before teaching a class?

You need to know what you plan to achieve

It replaces the syllabus

2. Why are exercises advisable in education?

It is a form of punishment for unruly students

They reinforce what is learned

Exercises inhibit free thought

3. How is competency verified in a self-study course?

Often by applying the skill in the real world

Through government sponsored tests

You don't become competent through self-study
