Ron Kurtus' Personal Finance Credentials
(26 November 2011)
The material in the Personal Finance section is not meant to be used for financial advice. Instead, it provides basic information that is very useful in understanding personal finance issues.
Ron Kurtus graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and did graduate work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Missouri. He taught Financial Mathematics at the Waukesha County Technical College and College Algebra at the University of Missouri.
He also worked for a number of years writing documentation for accounting/job costing applications for WennSoft software company. However, much of the personal finance material is from doing research in the many books on the subject.
Kurtus has written two books: Gravity and Gravitation: Derivations, Equations and Applications and Tricks for Good Grades: Strategies to Succeed in School.
Material he has written has also been cited in 151 published books, including Physics textbooks and a book published by NASA.
