Mini-Quiz: Buying with a Credit Card

by Ron Kurtus (revised 26 November 2011)

Take this Mini-Quiz to check your understanding of the lesson material.

1. Why should you compare your credit card bill with your receipts?

To make sure there are no unauthorized charges to your account

To see all the things you bought the last month

To make sure you paid your sales tax

2. If you have little money, what is wrong with not paying your credit card bill?

It is an easy way to get by, especially if you have several credit cards

Nothing, since the companies are rich and don't deserve your money

It can ruin your credit history, requiring all future purchases only in cash

3. If you have poor credit history, how can you get a credit card?

You are just out of luck

Many banks provide secured credit cards at a higher interest rate

You can apply and hope they don't check your record

If you got all three correct, you are on your way to becoming a Champion in Personal Finances. If you had problems, you had better look over the material again.
