Good Morning,

I hope your Monday is going well. My name is Alicia, and I am reaching out on behalf of Public Health Degrees, a website the provides current and prospective public health students information on career opportunities, professional resources, and education options.

While conducting research on COVID-19 best practices, I came across your "Health Resources by Ron Kurtus" page provided on the School for Champions website, located here:

I was wondering if you'd be open to including an additional reference on the page regarding masks?

If so, I'd like to suggest an article titled, "Official Information on Masks in the Coronavirus Pandemic - All in One Place," published by Public Health Degrees. This page compares masks made of various materials and how effective they are at blocking particles through a series of infographics. It also outlines how to wear and wash a mask, as well as provides information on policies as they relate to the Americans with Disabilities Act.

I believe this resource would be a valuable addition to the page as it provides a comprehensive breakdown of the importance of wearing a mask and how to properly do so.

Below is the URL to the COVID-19 Mask Guide, if you'd like to review and share it:

Would you be interested in including this resource on your web page?

Thank you for your time. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like more information. I hope to hear from you soon!

Happy Holidays

Kind Regards,
Alicia Kohler

Wants replacement pots

Topic: Waterless Cooking

April 22, 2020

I bought my Prudential waterless cookware in 1965 with a lifetime warranty. I ruined 2 of pots on a glass top stove. How can I find this company to request replacements. The other pieces still look brand new. yes, I have put the large fry pan in the oven no hotter than 350. then i oiled the handles with mineral oil and they still look great! Thank you for your help.

Carol - USA

It is great that your cookware has lasted so long, and it is too bad you ruin 2 pots.

Apparently, EKCO Prudential is out of business. However, I have seen many pots for sale on eBay and similar sites. Do a Google search on the brand name, and perhaps you can find some replacements.

Best wishes for success in your cooking.

Cookware handles

Topic: Waterless Cooking

March 31, 2020

I have had prudential waterless cookware since 1970. Love it. Can I put the frying pan in the oven or will the handles be ruined?

Diana - USA

It is great that your cookware has lasted so long. However, putting the frying pan in the over could possibly damage the handles. It would be better to use some other type of pan.

A handle broke on one of my pans and I need to know how to get another one.

Check the list on Waterless Cookware Companies for your brand and replacement. Also look at the Feedback letters to find a possible solution.

Good luck in getting the handle replaced.

Doctors could identify typhoid fever

Topic: Doctors Smelled Diseases

October 3, 2019

I've read that doctors could identify typhoid fever by a patient odor strongly resembling that of fresh-baked bread. Typhus victims, on the other hand, have breath with a "peculiar musty odor," according to an old encyclopedia I have.

Paula - USA

Thanks for the information. It is a shame that the old ways of diagnosis have gone by the wayside.

Thermo-Sentinel cookware handles

Topic: Waterless Cooking

January 9, 2019

Would you have any information on where I can purchase replacement handles for Thermo Sentinel stainless steel cookware bought in the 70’s
Thanks for your time.

Flo - USA

It looks like your cookware has lasted a long time. That is great,

I think Thermo-Sentinel was bought out by Vita Craft cookware. You can try their website at Vita Craft or call 1-800-359-3444.

Another possibility is to check your local hardware store or handyman for generic handles.

Best wishes for solving your problem.

Is Camelot cookware dishwasher safe?

Topic: Cookware Companies

September 1, 2018

Can you please tell me if Camelot temp-tone cookware is dishwasher safe. Just remembered that I bought it over 40 years ago and never used it.

Jacquline - USA

Since the cookware is stainless steel, it should be dishwasher safe. Camelot is now owned by Regal Ware so you can get information from them.

You also can see questins about Camelot from the FixYa site.

40 years! You had better start using the cookware.

My team and I recently created a guide for families/households concerned with making their homes wheelchair accessible, and I thought it would be a helpful addition for your site's visitors if they find themselves in a similar situation.

When I'm not working with homes, I like to help people out with home-related questions, and I found a lot of guides covering this subject were either too thin or incomplete. I wanted to make something comprehensive that addresses every part of the house, inside and out, to show people that wheelchair accessibility is an achievable goal when approached systematically.

Thank you for your time, and please let me know if there's anything I can do on my end to help you out with this.

All the best,

Greg - USA

Cookware parties

Topic: Cookware Companies

March 28, 2018

Looking for recommendations of leading cookware doing parties and recurring help?

John - USA

You might check with some local stores that sell waterless cookware for referrals concerning cookware parties.

Also, a Google search on "cookware parties" can give a listing for the various brands. I've seen some from cookware salesmen promoting their services, but of course you want someone local.

Best wishes in your efforts.
