Take this Mini-Quiz to check your understanding of the lesson material.

1. What is the potential energy of an object at some height "h" above the ground?

PE = mv2/2

PE = KE

PE = mgh

2. It the object is not moving, what is its kinetic energy?

KE = 0

It depends on its height

KE = mgh

3. What is the final velocity when a dropped object hits the ground?

vf = 0

vf = √(2gh)

vf = PE + KE
