Air Force Weapons Lab TQM Continuous Improvement Plan
by Ron Kurtus
The United States Air Force Weapons Lab established a Continuous Improvement Plan to fulfill their Total Quality Management (TQM) requirements. The Weapons Lab commander issued a document to outline their plan to implement TQM and provide continuous improvement in their work.
Although issued in 1990, the plan still provides a good outline for implementing TQM in your organization.
Questions you may have include:
- What was their commander's policy?
- What was their continuous improvement approach?
- How would they measure their progress?
This lesson will answer those questions.
