by Ron Kurtus (revised 10 April 2013)

Take this Mini-Quiz to check your understanding of the lesson material.

1. Are breadcrumbs required on all websites?

Yes, according the the Website Administration Association

Only on large sites

They are not required, but they can be beneficial

2. What is an advantage of breadcrumbs?

They help the user understand the structure of your website

They cause your website to be optimized for all search engines

They are essentially "eye candy" and used by few sites

3. Why don't some major websites use breadcrumbs?

They don't have the programmers that can set up the breadcrumbs

They feel their menu system is sufficient for good navigation

Some hide their breadcrumbs so that they can use multiple ones

If you got all three correct, you are on your way to becoming a Champion in Web Design. If you had problems, you had better look over the material again.
