Mini-Quiz: Managing Website Images

by Ron Kurtus (revised 13 May 2007)

Take this Mini-Quiz to check your understanding of the lesson material.

1. Why should you put image files in sub-folders according to subjects?

It make it much easier to manage them in a big site

You really shouldn't do that unless you have a big hard drive

It is the only way they can be accessed

2. Would you need to include the date in your image file name?

It is only allowed by newspapers

Only unless you need to identify images by date

You should always have the date in the name

3. Why would you duplicate a file and give it different names?

You can only use each image one time on a site

To confuse people trying to download your images

To identify its different use

If you got all three correct, you are on your way to becoming a Champion in Web Design. If you had problems, you had better look over the material again.

Organizing your work makes it easier to do
